I need a copy of a bank statement to send off asap. PTSB online allows me to download but Jul to Dec 24 has not been made available yet and they require a 'recent' statement. I can ask for a copy to be sent out by post but time is of the essence as I need to do this bby Monday evening. Just wondering has anyone managed to get a statement by going into the bank in person. My guess is yes but just in case anyone else had my predicament.

I've taken screen shots and downloaded transactions from the last statement date to current date. You can only do this on yr laptop /pc. Would that bridge the gap for you?

I avoid going in person these days, I find it very frustrating.

I don't bank with PTSB but just took a look at my AIB & BOI accounts online.
They both have up to date transactions for current accounts.
If PTSB do similar, could you print off the same and of course would this be acceptable?

If you request an up to date eStatement using the online request button, in addition to being sent out in the post it should be added to the online statement archive. You can then access it online, presumably a few days sooner than the paper copy arrives in the post. You could also contact them on 0818 50 24 24 on Monday and ask about getting an up to date statement in-branch.

Is this for your current account? I can access all my PTSB e-statements in the mobile app. If I click on the three horizntal lines top left, e-statements is an option, and every statement from 2021 to Jan 2025 is there.

Yep - I do that but it seems my year is July to July so I only have statements up to July 2020 to July 2024. The statement I need has to be within the last 3 months.
The requirement is it must show name, address, sort/account number and five recent transactions to prove the account is active. I'm leaning with the option of July24 statement plus a pdf download of recent transactions. The latter does not include my name and address though.
I'll take a gander into a branch today and report back but I have zero patience so won't hang around.

I recall doing this in the past, had to phone up to order it and there was a charge for it, I think.

Can I request a printed statement in-app?

This is not currently available in-app. If you wish to request a paper statement you will need to call us on 0818 502 424 or +353 1 212 4101; Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm (excluding bank holidays) or Saturday & Sunday, 10am – 2pm.

Please be aware a duplicate statement fee is charged at €2.50 per page, capped at €20 per individual account request.

@elcato When I posted the above on Saturday last I also logged on to my PTSB account and requested an up to date statement. The statement was produced yesterday and added to the online archive, allowing me to view it (and obviously print or e-mail it had I needed to do so). So if you aren't already sorted, I suggest that you do this and you should have the statement in a day or so.
