Can I change to KBC from a UB variable rate?

Hi, I have a variable rate of 3.2% @ 60% LTV with UB. I am hoping to switch. Is KBC the best deal in town at the moment? Thanks K
 
Yes, you can switch.
You can just fix with UB immediately (2 year 2.3%) or go through the switching process with KBC. There's 3k cashback, legal & valuation will cost you about 1400, and it'll take a few months.
 
Thanks RedOnion. And the breakage fees. I saw someone else on a different post just saying there that they were quoted in excess of €3,000 for breaking the fixed rate. It seems very excessive?
 
Thanks HollowKnight but if I did break a fixed rate with KBC (if I wanted to sell) how much would breakage fees amount to?
