Can anyone recommend a good DIY book?

Can anyone pls recommend a good DIY book for amateurs who will be doing the labouring in a new property for flooring, painting etc?

I use the Collins Complete DIY book and find it useful. It gives you enough info to give any DIY task a go. This B&Q book also seems to have gotten good reviews http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/0500511365/026-3765286-9687667. I couldn't get hold of it on the web but will try a B&Q store soon.

I ordered the Collins DIY Manual from Amazon on Tuesday so I'll let you know what I think when it arrives.
