It’s not easy to find land for sale at the moment, prices have risen way ahead of the housing market since 2020 , I doubt you could buy land for forestry for 6k right now unless it was a very large parcel?

Kilmacthomas is an intensive dairy farming area , very good land, surprised such cheap land there

its already replanted forestry. In effect the way the rules are, it can only ever be forestry. Once the grants are used, that's all its worth.
