Buying back years, by when ?

I qualify Class 2 and can buy back from 2009-2024/25,

What I would like to know, is there a deadline by when those years have to be bought back ?
Or would I be able buy back 2 years every year till I ahve caught up.

It tells you on your letter when you need to buy back by. After april you can only buy back the last 5 years so need to buy back up to 2020.

I worked in the UK around 2005. If I get my callback request in before 6th April, I can buy back the 20 or so years. Is that right?

1. Deadline is 5th April
2. Complete CF83 and send by recorded delivery.

It been posted several times,
If you requested a call back they will honour the buy back, to be safe complete the CF38 and send it recorded mail, needs to be singed for by 5th April and they will honour your buy back

Normally you can only buy back contributions for previous 6 years. However, the UK government is currently allowing to buy bask as far back as 2006 (effectively up to 18 years)..

This is a one time deal, once the next UK tax year starts (5th April), then it reverts to a 6 years buy back.
