i would recommend calling into the laptop shop on the 3rd floor of the st stephens green shopping centre if you are in Dublin. They seem to be competitively priced and know what they are talking about without giving u the hard sell.
ccovich . its just called the laptop shop. It has loads of gagets aswell such as itrip, routers etc. They have fm transmitters for eur 60, a bit pricey imo.Does this shop have a name or is it just 'the laptop shop'? Do they sell peripherals etc. as well?
The spec and performance of the iMac (or MacBook if your specifically looking at laptops) is excellent. Many users who switch would never go back to a "windows" PC. They are slightly more expensive than a PC with like for like spec, but as they are two very different machines it's similiar to comparing a 1.6l estate to a 1.6l sports car - a true comparison can't be made (I'm not saying which is which, just pointing out they're different).Seeking a new laptop too. Has anyone one of those cool looking newish white iMac or Apple things? Is the spec and performance as sharp as the styling?
