Buy back last 6 years?

Have bought back up to 2019 and planned to do the rest later this year. Just checked my forecast and it says it is too late to pay 2019, 2020, 2021 to 2022. My letter said I had until 2026 to pay 2019. Has anyone else noticed a change? This would mean I had lost 25 a week if I can't buy them.

I had the exact same issue when I checked my account over the weekend , only allowing back-payment for 2 years, even though I had previously been able to be the last 6 years:]
I see their system is down at the moment, I wonder is this a change in policy

As before, if you have a letter detailing that you can pay for some past years up to '25, '26 etc etc then that letter has primacy over anything on their website.

The website has very clear caveats surrounding the accuracy of the info contained therein.

I see the website has been updated now with the last 5 years for payment, but the previous years shortfall payment levels has increased to 923 for most years:

Not for people who already applied.
I am not 100% certain on this, but may be mistaken

This is my payment letter from 2024 tax year

and this is my online detail from 2024, saved at the time. They gave me to 2029 in the payment letter

I feel, they may penalise you if you do not pay up smartly.
You would be OK on the old rates if you have an appeal in for Class2 and are awaiting HMRC reply

You will be penalised if you don't pay by the Payment due without penalty date on your letter, not the date on the website.

£923 is the rate for the new UK tax year which started on 6 April 2025. Whatever your letter says for previous years overrides that amount.
