I think we may be getting our wires crossed.
In my first post yesterday I simply reported on Professor McHale’s initial comments. In my second post, which was in response to Gerry’s post, I outlined the potential consequences if the Commission found that the budget was in breach of our MTO. In my final post, I simply referred to RTE’s report that the Commission had confirmed that the budget was in order from their perspective. You said this final post was not correct so I linked to the Fiscal Council’s statement that referenced the Commission’s confirmation.
I am not suggesting that Professor McHale has changed his opinion that the budget was over-expansionary.
