Boiler upgrade in a 20 year old house

I have to replace an Ideal Classic boiler, which is 28 years old as part are now unavailable.

Everyone I have spoken to agreed that the Ideal Classic was the best and most reliable gas boiler.

I am looking for a like-for-like replacement.

A Worchester Bosch Viessmann has been recommended.

The house is a 4-bedroom semi with 11 radiators and a hot water cylinder.

The water pressure is low.

Is the recommended boiler reliable?
 
Another one here for Viessman, had mine installed in 2009 and it's run nearly perfect for the last 15 years
Asked the guy servicing it this year' should I think about upgrading it to a more modern one
He answered, No why would you, these boilers are top of the range and once the parts are available you're not really going to gain any noticeable extra efficiency in buying a new one
 
If you want to increase the efficiency of your boiler simply turn down the temperature of the system.
Note this is different to turning down the temperature for your rooms or your hot water.
If your boiler is heating your house running at 80C it will not be able to condense and so the efficiency will be 60-75%.
If you turn down the system temperature to say 50C, the boiler will be able to get most of the heat energy from condensing and efficiency could be 80-95%.
Note this does not make your house colder, it still heats the house up to the same temperature, the only difference is that it will take longer to heat your house at 50C than it will at 80C, but just turn your boiler on earlier (and longer) and your good.
