Hi all,

I currently have my matured SSIA funds sitting in a Bank of Ireland deposit account (until I decide what to to with the money).

Would funds in this type of account (as opposed to current or savings) be covered by the government's recent promise to guarantee money deposited in Irish banks?

Apologies if this has already been addressed elsewhere on this forum!
