Bloom in the Park

Should we assume that you have already lodged your objections with the Parks Department of DCC?

The Phoenix Park is under the remit of the Office of Public Works, not Dublin City Council.

The show gardens were interesting for the most part but not enough of them, I was disappointed to miss out on "The garden that no-one saw" as their electics were tripped by flooding.

Alert, we found the location of this garden late in the evening (Friday opening till 8pm), and it had closed at 6pm. Did anyone "see" it, what was it like, what did you think?

Went to Bloom on Friday ( Beautiful sunshine all day ) got train, then shuttle bus. Spent wonderful day, definitely best garden related show ever seen here. Hope they do it again next year. Got photos of a number of the gardens for reference. Thought the OPW one was brilliant with the huge victorian glasshouse. Now all I need is some enthusiasm to attack the patch at home !
