go dublin to thomastown, just far side of thomastown go right towards carrick on suir and on into dungarvan that way
Or for a slight variation on this go via Kilkenny (either on the N9/10 or via Athy on the N77/8 - it's much of a muchness really I think) ... then from Kilkenny head on the N76 towards Clonmel (this is a pretty good road)- cut off it for Carrick on Suir (it passes a few miles North of Carrick, not through it)... and then take the road south from Carrick (the R676 which is a pretty poor road) to meet the main Waterford-Dungarvan Road.
