Any other suggestions as to how to finance the wedding (assuming the OP isn't prepared to wait until they have enough savings)?
As you're supposed to match the term of a loan to the life of an asset you could, like a lot of people do, top up your mortgage? I'm equating the marraige to the mortgage, not the wedding!
Certainly for short term loans Tesco are the winner...however there was a poster in another thread who applied for a Tesco loan at 6.9% (I think this is gone?) Ulster Bank administer the Tesco loans...anyways an Ulster bank telesales guy supposedly working for Tesco undercut the 6.9% rate to get the business for UB! If you're going to borrow shop around BIGTIME
