Best bank to get a affordable home mortgage

Does any1 know the best deal in the banks that offer affordable home Morgage.

Have heard good reports about EBS but I would say they are all on Par with each other. I'd try and go with the cheapest rate tho.

I was only allowed apply for an AH mortgage through Bank of Ireland,EBS and IIB..see pg 12 of the AH booklet [broken link removed] whether itll be updated now that First Active is on the seen im not sure! There are alot of mortgage lenders but not all will lend for an AH property seemingly.EBS have the best rate at the moment (3yr fixed)..although it changes all the time..IIB were the best when i applied!

First Active have started doing it as well - will give 100% of your share

I hav applied to all 3 to see what the best offer i get, so far EBS are offering me 225k

The EBS now offer 100% mortgages for afforable houses

I got my mortgage through BOI. They offered me a rate of 4.79% fixed for 2 years and EBS said that they couldn't match this.
