If there any tax professionals out there that are stuck for work, they're doing something wrong
Yes it is. I did it on line over the weekend, refund in my bank today. All very efficient.Well worth claiming.
@Leper, do you mean for a myAccount/"Form 12" or a ROS/"Form 11" return? From a few inquiries I reckon the average cost for a simple single tax submission for a retired husband and wife team is €90.00 through a tax accountant or an accounts technician. That’s a good price and it offers peace of mind for the punter.
Yes - but do you mean a PAYE return or a self-assessment return? But, I am saying that €90.00 is a fair price for a qualified person to complete the annual tax declaration for any retired couple ...
So we re all in agreement that its easy? Because it is.PS Who mentioned difficult?
Thats fairIf you think you need an accountant to do this for you, you're either under a misapprehension or you have some sort of complication in your income or tax affairs.
More like 140 ppl at 100 per person?aware that it's the average refund that is €900. It's not that the average result of a tax return is a €900 refund. One person claiming an incapacitated child credit for 4 years would balance out 15 people getting €100 back on health expenses
Indeed. I meant to type 150 but I must have had the wrong figure for the credit in my head.More like 140 ppl at 100 per person?
3400 x 4 yrs ÷ 100
