The upper limit for the 55-59 age group is currently 35%.
Is this 55 full years or one's 55th year - in other words, if a person turns 55 at some point in this year, does the 55-59 limit apply? Many Thanks.
The age related limits kick in for the year in which you turn the relevant age. If you turned 55 on December 31st 2007 then the 55-59 limit would apply for the whole of 2007.
