Sorry Sueellen..i would just like to clarify all my experience states to astec being reliable & as an installer i would recommend them.what i was trying to point out was if some systems are badly installed this does not mean the make in not reliable. l was also trying to make the point that if an installer does not know how to make the use of the wiring in a property to install various systems that is not the builders fault. I can say i have always been able to work with whatever wiring is in place. There is always a way. Any good engineer will tell you that.
