Hi Jenny, Congratulations on the house!

Where did you get one in the end?

Its another couple of weeks for us, they said 5 weeks to us as well but now its delayed a bit because its an old corporation house and the seller has to get some documentation from Dublin corporation in order to sell the house, apartently its just formality but can take 8 weeks.

Thank you im just glad its nearly over. We got a place in Donaghmede there is stamp duty on it but its close to the family and friends. You were lucky getting your place with no stamp duty. We are just waiting on the loan offer now how long did yours take to come through. they reckon it could be 5 days for the loan offer then i dont know when for the contracts i hope it all goes to plan.

Won't be long until your in your place at least it gives you more time to save Is there much to be done to your place. Ours needs a good clean and painting before we could move in.

Hi Jenny,

Loan took a week or two, not that long.

The house is in good condition, its been freshly painted and wall papered, so we can more in as is. Its not exacly to our style but we can decorate as we go along. Looking forward to that part!

thats good at least its fresh and ready to move in. We wont be moving into ours straight away beacuse it needs to be painted but looking forward to decorating it the way we want it will be great fun
