Just off the phone from them . Rep I spoke to was was very helpful the most helpful and apologetic to date on the helpline . He tried to get a definitive answer said cheques meant to be issued this week but he said realistically it will probably be early next week so end of next week I should receive it .

Got the cheque today.
Instruction to issue 2 cheques received by AIB on the 2nd Sept
Dealt with on the 11th
Cheque issued on the 18th

Now waiting for the Compound vs Simple to be fixed by AIB.
If anybody thinks of anything we can do to help, please let me know.
