Appears to me that all sites quoting stock exchange prices seem to have probs today. Looks like some (e.g. Yahoo) may be quoting yesterdays prices. Looking at the ise.ie, the index seens to be moving in steps rather than a continuous line. Anyone else observed peculiarities??

German Stock Exchange closed for May Day. ISE uses the same platform, so electronic trading unavailable today.

Are they back to chalk and blackboard then?????? as in the old days.

They are displaying some prices - mainly for the bigger stocks such as banks. These are also traded in London, so maybe the prices shown are London prices.

You'd think someone in Frankfurt could come in to keep the system running. The ISE might be tiny, but it's surely worth a bit of bank holiday pay for Gunther or Helga!

Wonder if the May Day problem also affects the Target system which is run from Frankfurt, and which handles the high-value and urgent inter-bank transactions??
