I can only speak from my own experience it was a waste of time trying to sell my property with the likes of the big estate agency's etc go to a small well established agency in Bulgaria with contacts in Russia and advertise your property at a price it will sell my friend sold his property this way and so did I. If you want to pay upfront fee's to sell your property you may as well give it to charity or me its a rip off. They take in the upfont fee and move on to the next person waste of time.

No I dont sell property, I am an interior designer and we have a furnishing business here in Bulgaria.
I know the complex yours is in and I think it is very well placed to sell but like everywhere else it has to be at the right price for the current market.

I completely agree with timithypaul on up front fees, avoid them at all costs a total waste of time & money.

Timithypaul, I dont know of any small well established agencies anywhere in sunny beach if you have a contact will you let me know please as I know thousands of ppl who feel like petpal & marc r who would like to know who these agents are.

Has anyone heard or dealt with a company called extra sales? they claim to sell bulgarian propeties on the russian market. Looking for marketing fee up front

I put my Bulgarian apt for sale with them a year ago and they have not gotten anyone to even view my apt yet. Maybe if I lowered my price to less than what I paid for, I might have gotten people viewing it but I'm not that desperate to sell yet. I would not waste your money with them.
 
I have agreed a sale on an un-renovated old house - taking a large loss on what I bought it for but my life has moved on since I bought a load of properties in Bulgaria and trying to downsize my portfolio. I have just been advertising privately and to the fairly large contact list I built up over the years. Things are selling but at low prices.

Sounds very like the Rachelg/travelbug story to me.

I read that site recently to see how things ended up and it is a salutary tale of the whole property madness. I hope few people actually listened to her and bought there.
