Anyone know where I could buy an American car (such as new Mustang). I know there are garages in the UK who import these and sell them to punters. Are there any in Ireland or in N Ireland?

I know there will be galloping depreciation and gas guzzling issues but hey this is heart over head stuff.

Any advice appreciated!
 
You would be raped for VRT. They are available in the UK new however, at a price.

John Moloneys garage in Limerick has a 04 for sale I've seen it up close and it's a real muscle car fantastic looking but a bit
pricey it's been there quite a while as it's a 3.8L V6 way too big for most people but it may just be what you're looking for.
I'd say taking into account how long it's been there you should be able to haggle the price down

I drove a Mustang GT last year in the US.

4.65l V8 :D

A V6 Mustang would be a mistake imho.
 
Not a popular model, and reviews say it's underpowered.

An American sportscar needs that V8 grunt and soundtrack :D
 
I currently drive a 4.3 l myself. Insurance is not a problem as it is a big car (<€1k full comp) and it needs the engine. The Mustang may be different. However it depends on the usage.
