Alternative ways to invest in property

Hi, apart from buying property or buying shares directly or via a fund, are there any other ways to invest in property in Ireland? Recently spent some time in the UK and heard about other strategies such as rent to rent. Thanks

The vast majority of lease agreements will not allow sub letting. Renting to rent wouldn't be investing in property, it would be purchasing a good/service, repackaging it and selling it at a mark up. This sounds like a recipe for disaster in Ireland.

My 2c, if you want to invest in property.....buy a property.
