I got a letter from the COCO on friday, they now need

- P21
- more recent bank statments
- my daughters birthcert
- eveidence of rent

I gave them all this (well bar my daughters birth cert in May), they said that info is now out of date and they need more recent figures. when i send it in may they were all accurate - it just took so long for them to process.

i rang the council every two weeks while i was waiting to see if i needed any more info and everytime they said no what i had send was more that enough

Oh well - no i begin the document search

Living in Beaumont but would love to live in Fingal cause DCC lottery system is too frustrating!!! I'm not on local list. Was your friend, maybe that's why she got one?? When was she offered one? I'd love to have gotten one there. Kinda thought those offers hadn't come out yet. Ah well better I know now than keep the hopes up!!! Thanks.
 

She was just on the fingal affordable list like the rest of us.. So yeah they've come and gone... Im in that DCC lottery draw aswell, they done a daw today so SUCCESFUL applicants will be finding out next week and if your unsucessful (which is what i always am!!) You'll probly hear nothing.. Both DCC and Fingal are as a bad as each other... Its just such a drawn out, long and painful process... Well goodluck for the draw anyways....

Has anyone heard anything about when any of the properties under construction will be nearing completion or have any other info?

Housing Construction is on-going at the following locations:

Balrothery, Co. Dublin 157 units
Pobalscoil Neasain, Baldoyle 44 units
Castlelands, Balbriggan 131 units
St. Brigid's Park, Blanchardstown 14 units
Flemington (Phase 2), Balbriggan 128 units
Sheepmoor, Blanchardstown 1 unit
Garristown, Co. Dublin 38 units
Station Road, Portmarnock 26 units
Oldtown, Co. Dublin 35 units
Moyclare, Baldoyle 7 units
 
Balrothery, Co. Dublin 157 units

These houses are in the estate beside me and as far as I can see are all finished. Some people have moved in, possibly the social houses. There are about 20 houses that have access through my estate. These are all affordable.

Went to see 2 apartments in st. fintan's swords this morning. They were tiny.
 
How do you find out what place you are on the list? when I asked I was told they didn't give out that information as it was unfair on others, I don't really see how it is. Also how does the list really work I live in Bayside and was offered a viewing in Gleann Ribh Lusk which I went to and 2 viewings in Balbriggan which is too far away for me but I wasn't offered a viewing in Swords which is closer and which I would have loved.
 
If it's any use to you I'm on the list 11 months now and am in the process of renewing my application. I also got a letter about the two viewings in Balbriggan but got no letter about Gleann Ribh even though I got to view Lusk village earlier on in the year.

I'm from Swords so I presume I'm fairly high up the local list and that's why I got to view these two apartments.

hiya. i rang the fingal about 2 weeks ago and they said i was 278 on the list from 700. i got approved in feb and havent seen anythin yet. think im down for reapproval.
