Yep got the keys yesterday. Had to collect them from the County Hall. Can't do much though untill i get the electricity reconnected. The Esb are calling Monday and there is a reconnection fee of 90 Euro. Just trying to organise delivery dates for furnature and floors now.

hi suzy no luck wit that i was told it could take months and to be honest i just wanted the keys and i was after hearing from a friend that someone they new went bout it and it went on for 7 months and got no where so didnt c the point............hope you get your keys soon..

hi dylanjohn your better off sticking to ebs coz its alot faster you can always change afterwards....hope you get ur keys soon
 
anybody got any information on cork corporation and their policy on affordable housing?
 
has anybody heard anything about douglas or carrigaline. i heard the houses in castletreasure, donnybrook, are on hold, even though they are finnished. anybody else hear anything?

Did you get your keys yet? If so, how long were you waiting after you signed the contracts to get them?

My solicitors office rang to say my contracts are in, so will prob sign next week as my sol is away until Thursday. Just wondering how long to get the keys after that!

Got my keys I was waiting about week it all depends how fast your mortgage is drawn down.

Another question! At what point did you have to pay your deposit? I still havent paid anything off mine (mine is 30k), its sitting in the bank, but nobody has mentioned it yet!

Appointment with my solicitor to sign the contracts tomorrow, finally things are moving for me!
 
Don't know got 100% mortgage I presume it's when the mortgage cheque goes to the solicitor. Hopefully you will have your keys next week so.
