Can someone please advise how do I go about applying for the above scheme. I am not sure how the scheme works. I assume I will need mortgage approval before I can go about applying for same.
You don't need a mortgage approval before applying for the scheme. You need to ring your Council and ask can you put your name down on the list for the Affordable Housing. I put my name down about 2.5 years ago and I only got called to go for an interview a week ago as 6 houses have become available.
