Accommodation in Cardiff - Heineken Cup Final

Need your help!! Have been trying to get accommodation in Cardiff on May 24th. It might sound like I am leaving it very last minute but I have been looking for a long time now, many hotels have told me they have been booked up since last Sept:(. There will be six of us travelling. I was hoping that maybe with other teams out of the final there might have been a good few cancellations but that doesn't seem to be the case. I have rooms booked for the friday night. It doesn't help either that its a bank holiday weekend there as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.:)
 
Many people i know going are staying in Bristol and travelling up to Cardiff for the game by train, i think it takes <hour. Might be worth considering - I guess it depends where you are flying in to.
