About to pay voluntary UK national insurance contributions

Hi I am just wondering I have been told that I can apply on the form CF83 online, however they are looking for uk identification which now I don't have. Is there any other way around it. They have told me that it will take longer to send it by post... what do I do?

Did you create your UK Gateway account online, Where you uploaded your passport/ID?
