For the record meals for two I've had on €7.50.

Meal 1.
Greek Style Spicy Chicken Breast
Pasta Salad

Meal 2.
Enchiladas
Rice
Milk to drink
Jelly for Desert.

Both from Dunnes in Cornel's Court.

I was led to believe that I was goin' to get the opportunity to eat a load of free grub and next thing I find that a winner has been announced. I never even got to taste one bloody bean or a slice of burnt toast :b

I'll pm you but...I have no problem if you want to extend the closing date and let people submit their various recipes.

It'd be fairer than my (oh so delectable) beans on toast, now renamed Haricots al pomodoro on white bread crostini as per Clubman's suggestion. I plan on selling it to all the trendy food bars on Dawson street for millions!!

I never even got to taste one bloody bean or a slice of burnt toast

sueellen, you'll just have to wait in line and pay E6.50 for a bowl of it like everyone else now ;)

I don't doubt it. Remember when mashed spuds and black pudding became the height of haute cuisine in many a posh restarurant for a few years there not so long ago... :\
