50k to put on deposit

I'm not sure if this is the right forum, so apoligies if it's not. I'm looking for advice for someone who has 50k just sitting in their current account. There's so many offers around at the minute that their not sure where they can get the best deal. Basically, they want immediate access to the majority of their funds but would consider putting a portion of it into a, say, 30 day notice account. I know Rabo offer a good rate, but is this only on balances of up to 10k? Should they consider depositing the 50k between a number of institutions?

For what it's worth I've just put €40k into Irish Nationwide Flexisaver 21 @ 5% interest, €10k in Rabo and I'm using a further €10k to drip feed into EBS Regular Savings Account at 7%.

I'll probably take some of the €10k out of the Rabo savings account and go for some long term investment funds.
