4 day week request by company

Hi
Company I work for has had a difficult few months due to climate - weather & economic.Sales poor.
Have been asked to see if our department would go on a 4 day week till things pick up .

Need to know if I agree to 4 day week - how does this affect my full time contract.
I think it will reduce my entitlement to holidays.
But more worried on the other matter in that does it constitute a break in service etc.

Any info. appreciated.

I can't answer your questions, but another to bear in mind, if there is in the future a redundancy, your salary may be based off a 4 day week and not off your 5 day week. Or at least that would need to be confirmed.
