Enjoy the rugby over the weelend - but not a great start for the u20's last night...

Thanks. Very disappointed for the young lads on Thursday night, a tough assignment meeting last year's champions as their first assignment.

But that Scotland vs Italy match was a good appetiser. What did yiz think of the Italian match kit? Very Michelangelo or someone like that. The Azzuri trés chique!!

Ireland to win.

Enjoy, Laters.

Great 2nd half performance, apart from when it went all loosey-goosey in the last 10 and they allowed England scores for a losing bonus-point they didn't deserve. Well done lads and well done Simon, " Eh Simon, what time is it?" :D

HAppy enough but by no means ecstatic.

Your French doesn't need to be great to appreciate this part of a headline commentary on Ireland Vs England from Le Figaro

"Irlande-Angleterre : Lowe irrésistible, Prendergast en difficulté, le XV de la Rose s’est fané... Les tops et les flops"

Stephen Jones in the London Times seemed a little peeved.
“ They thrived on the needle-sharped incisiveness of Jamison Gibson-Park at scrum half , James Lowe on the wing , Mack Hansen on the other wing , Bundee Aki in midfield-they were also well served by the odd Irish born player “ !!!!

Typical....they just can't accept defeat ....
Is it any wonder 'we' don't like them .

Strange that over the years they never commented on ROG, born in San Diego, California, in the good ole US of A, or Jonny Sexton and David Humphreys neither of whom were born in Cork!

I listened to a New Zealand pundit talking about Gibson-Park and Lowe. I think it was Sky Sports New Zealand. He commented that neither player were anywhere close to their current levels of skill when they left New Zealand. The rest of the panel acknowledged that as true. Therefore it's fair to say that they are from New Zealand but as Rugby players they were made in Ireland.

And the All Blacks are like a representative team from all of the South Seas.

...we won't mention the Republic of Ireland Soccer team back in the bygone years when they were actually any good.

England 26, France 25. What a result for Ireland!! France should have been out of sight by half-time but no one in a blue geansai seemed able to hold the rugby ball in the first half. At least three certain tries were butchered by France.
