12.5% corp tax

Just watching Primetime and the feature on corp tax. I often thought of this myself lets say we have to give it uo could we not just give subsidies for employemt, reduced rates, free esb or write off anything etc etc. IE you could balance it out. Plus if we have tu increase so will all other eu countries??
