Could have been much worse. Scotland and Wales in very tough groups.

No great trips to look forward to however.
Moscow is a really dangerous place where it seems every local is trying to rip you off and Bratislava is little better although you have the option of staying in Vienna.

Good man Lex. Could not get to see it live. Hey ho, Hey ho, it's to the match we go .......

So when's the next WC draw?

Cos that doesn't fill you with much excitement. Good luck to the FAI trying to sell tickets for the new Aviva with that lineup.

I disagree with you about Moscow. I've been several times and it's an amazing city. Not the most tourist friendly but definitely worth a visit.

Is the fact that all the opponent countries finish in "A" relevent. Or is Sep conjuring up some mischief again :)

"Not the most tourist friendly " - you can say that again , we were overcharged by every taxi driver , bar owner and restratuer even the elderly babushka selling tube tickets ripped us off !
Even the police were robbing fans on the pretense of checking passports and then we had to contend with the Russian ultras.
This was my second visit to Moscow having been there in 1979 and I agree with you that it's a hugely interesting city but I will never go there again for a football game.
