Bought 2nd hand Renault Megane'04-have some problem..

Hi,

Just bought a 2nd hand Ranault Megane 2004 1.6 saloon. It was lying out of road for 3 -4 months with the dealer, so got a bargain. While I was driving it last couple of days I noticed-
1- There is a little shock from the car even while driving on smooth road with normal driving conditions.
2- When I turn on the ignition (tried it 15-20 times) after around 15 seconds it goes little low and sometimes goes off. When warmed up though after about 5-10 minutes works fine.

Am I being mugged or it is just normal issue because car was off road a good while.
If I want to get it serviced should I take it to authorised dealer or local guy.

Aside from the obvious about old renaults, it's less of a good deal if it needs a service just after you bought it. I'd be wary of any car that was lying out on the road for that length of time that hadn't been serviced. Is it diesel or petrol?

It is petrol with 75K miles on it.
It comes with full authorised dealer's service history with last service done in Apr-08 as manual says service every 2 years. I might get it serviced soon.
I got it for 3.5K.
