a sun holiday suggestion for aug 10

hi all.
can anyone suggest somewhere nice to go on holiday in august 10 for 2 weeks.
its just myself and my boyfriend.
were looking for somewhere hot, good nightlife, nice beaches.
were thinking of somewhere far away, not really europe.
all suggestions are very greatful.

Would suggest Buenos Aires , vibrant nightlife , good food and drink
and cheap.
No beaches however.

Not hot either! Winter in Buenos Aires is from June to August.

Florida would be hot, and Miami Beach has a lively nightlife (it's a while since I was there though). There can be a lot of thunderstorms at that time of year however.

(1) - High risk scenario - stay at home - could get heatwave in August.
(2) - Try Florida - you'll get the sun, beaches, but you'll pay the price!!
(3) - How about Mexico - Cancun is touristy and hot
(4) - Why not try the Greek islands - wonderful!
