I was looking there today some nice cars and looked like lots of interest.

I was looking at 97a 03 525d estate.
Allegedly just over 70k miles.

No docs or anything to back up service.

Otherwise a nice looking wagon.

What do people think on an auction maximum.

I know I would be taking a bit of a risk, but at the right price could be a lot of car.

Anyone opinions on the car?

No great value. absolutely packed.

525 went for 8500 plus charges.

the jag went for 42500 plus charges.

Not great for cars with no waranty or come back.

Crazy prices for auction.

Mad money in the circumstances. I tried to post a reply last night but my mobile internet connection (Vodafone again) crashed. My own opinion was that €7k plus charges was more than enough.

Its such a laugh! Irish people seem to get carried away at auction & think its a "cuter buy" at auctions. Go to a dealer & you can test-drive, bargain, probably trade-in & get a warranty......Auctions are not for retail buyers........unless you really know what you're at & like to take a chance.
