any good deals in laptops at the moment?

Hi
I want to give a gift of a labtop to my daughter for christmas. She will uses it for light office use and internet use. I would like to get the best value I can. I have access to micro office 7 as we have a 3 pack student one and used it only 2 times. What brands are good? Harvey Norman and soundstore are near me or I could buy on line if it was worth while. All advice welcome
 
Try Komplett or Pixmania. I got a lovely Toshiba on Pixmania last year for a good price and spec.
 
toshiba is good brand for laptops...HArvey normans do usually good offers...shop around before buying any
 
Try Laptopsdirect.ie I've bought a few from them both for business and personal use. They are professional and delivery to Ireland within a couple of days.

BTW retail are hugely expensive for laptops as you will see from the online retailers. If you don't mind it not being the latest and greatest model .. shop online for better deals.

I just got a T43 Lenovo from the US, landed for less than 450 incl duties
