LCD TV, New, seems to be a little bright on one side

Hi all,

Got a 22inch HD LCD TV. It seems to have a little bright batch about 2 inchhes by 3 on the right hand side wich is noticeable when the screen goes black or there is a dark scene in a programme.

Should I bring it back or is there a setting that i am missing out on?

A common enough problem with LCD TVs, its called backlight bleed.

Try turning the backlight setting down a good bit and if neccessary the brightness and contrast up to suit.
