Buying from a garage: get it checked?

Great fun? Its terrible!! Have you tried overtaking in an automatic? There is no way for the car to know you want power NOW, NOW, NOW. Contrast that with a manual where you bang it into third, it knows you want power and away you go. I would never ever buy an automatic car, but thats just me!

I have an 02 toyota landcruiser auto,which is a big heavy lump.But when I want to overtake I just push down the accelerator and it accelerates as fast as any manual.Have it now 6 years without problem,and would never consider going for a manual again.
If the warranty covers gearbox,then the auto box should be covered.

So if Im asking the dealer to cover the "autobox" then?? what do I actually ask for?? DO I ask for electrics to be covered too?
