Listening to all the debates over the last few weeks, I am starting to wonder why anyone would vote 'No' today?

The 'Yes' side have:
- All the major parties in the country
- Most of the major social partners
- Converts from the 'No' side of the likes of David McWilliams and one of Europes top business men in Michael O'Leary
- Top employers like Intel

The 'No' side have:
- Declan Ganley
- The Shinners

Jim Corr is now going to turn his attention to the J.F.K. shooting.
He reckons that it was certainly a conspiracy by some secret think tank Eurocrat in Brussels. ( After that he will reveal who really shot J.R. He believes it could be the Simpson baby))

how is that a reason to vote yes ?

Exactly!

A friend of mine said that he changed his vote from No to Yes because more people he'd "heard of" are saying vote yes.

They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.

The eclectic mix of naysayers notwithstanding, three reasons that some, myself included, may vote no are . .
1. Democratic principle - we said No already
2. National self-determination - we've ceded enough power to Brussels already
3. Loss of power - Lisbon dilutes Ireland's voting strength

This is good for a laugh:
"My name is Jim Corr. I have been studying what is referred to as the New World Order the past couple of years. I invite you to come with me on a journey, so we can attempt to get closer to what is really going on in the world today..."

So you're basing your vote not on the treaty, but who's backing the yes or no votes? That's even worse than voting to oust the government.

I voted No the last time. Nothing's changed, so I'm voting No again this time. Simple really.
