Did anyone hear Mary Lou on Drive Time today (02-09-2009)?

Re: Did anyone hear Mary Lou on Drive Time today?

I think it's Harneys duty to point out such things.

I think it is fair for Harney to point this out. SF want to be in Government here and the people have a right to know their position on issues. What if MLM was Minister for Justice? The issue of her and SF's position on the Jean McConville, Robert McCartney and Gerry McCabe and other killings is very important.

+1. Harney is the only politician left in this country with a bit of integrity.

As for the Shinners, they are completely stuffed at the next election. They stand for nothing, and have no constructive ideas of their own.

Now that all is well in Norn Iron, what is their political raison d'etre?

My money is that they will implode at the next election (along with the Greens - who also stand for nothing)

Thanks for brightening up my day.

This is the lady who was responsible for the heyday of FAS, and then moved on the widen the divide in the public and private health services.

She can keep her integrity.

They wait for other people to come up with ideas and then try to hijack them, its their usual MO.
Example, last Saturday, there was an anti-NAMA demo organised by [broken link removed] (never heard of them until now. however, any [broken link removed] of that demo SF placards were everywhere. Organiser was rather annoyed about it.

For the record, it was about 3-400 people. Certainly fewer than the protests by seniors over medical card. I witnessed both.

lets not be to hard on mary lou!...if it was not for people like her we all would have followed this government like a herd of sheep and voted yes for lisbon last time around...but without the extra consessions we are being offered now! she said all along that the government should hold out for a better deal for the irish people, Numbskull cown said there was no better deal on offer!

Wonderful! Maybe if SF were as forthcoming on all other issues such as the murder death of Robert McCartney we might trust them a bit more...

So what you're saying is that we were right to hold out for a better deal (which we now have in your opinion) but you are still voting no anyway.

Is this correct?

So you would vote yes if we got more concessions?

If so, what special deal do you think ireland should get (or deserves)?
