online purchases

Hello,

I do not have a credit card, but i have an aib laser card. can anyone tell me if there is a way to purchse items online without using a credit card, ie a "prepaid" card etc,that you could top up with the amount required, and use as a credit card on an interent shopping site? im reluctant to get a credit card, yet the bargins and savings are hard to ignore,
i have a paypal account. is there anyway i can transfer money to it, and then use it to purchase items online?? help much appreciated

Yes - one such card is called a 3V card - it's like a disposable credit card.

How is your paypal account funded, i.e. how do you currently lodge money to it :confused: ?
 
i had a credit card before!it expired and i have not renewed it, thanks for the reply :)
 
You can also use the Visa Debit card from halifax. Works just like a laser (you can only spend what you have in your account) and is accepted everywhere Visa is.

I have NO idea why other banks have not got this yet.
