Anybody know where I might lay my hands on a new or used (but in good condition) hospital bed. I have an aged relative who is spending a lot of time in bed and I would like tio have a bed that can be put up into a sitting position, possibly electronically.
If you contact your relatives local Public Health Nurse she may be able to arrange for one to be supplied by the HSE. If your relative is spending a lot of time in bed, they also need a pressure relieving mattress to prevent pressure sores.

Yes , I agree first port-of-call should be your local Health Nurse. If you dont get anywhere there try Royal Masterpeace in Navan , they supply to all major hospitals in the Dublin/Leinster area.
