Hi All,

'Er indoors has her car booked in for an NCT, but the Hazard Warning Light button is not illuminated.
It works(as in all indicators flash when it's activated, and indicator lights on dash the same) but doesn't flash itself.

It's an 05 Accord. I'm not even sure if it is even meant to be illuminated, but I think it probably is.

It's also a pain to get access to replace the button/bulb (if there is one).

So, do you reckon it'll fail the NCT ?

Thanks all.
PK.

Do you mean the button dosn't flash ?

I am not aware of any requirement for it to do so.

Yep, that's exactly what I mean.

I thought there was some requirement that all warning lights had to be illuminated. I always assumed this only referred to dash lights (ABS, Airbag etc.) but I don't wanna fail the test on account of a 20c bulb.

"The presence and operation of “four way flashers” or hazard warning flashers is not a part of the test"
