ilovepink I was in Barbados in August a few years ago. For us the weather was lovely for all but one day of a two week period. However in that one day we got the tail end of hurricane Charlie. Barbados usually only gets the tail end of these storms but be aware. When we were there it just meant the sea was very rough for that day and the hotel gave us candles in case of power cuts and warned us where we would evacuate to if it got very bad - luckily we didn't need either!
