heard of a great company that do a backpacker bus hop on hop off thing up the east coast of Australia but can't seem to find it on google. Any ideas what it is called?
Try www.greyhound.com.au/. I did the East Coast with them. Its just a regular coach as opposed to the "Oz Experience" but is much cheaper. I met a lot of people who had gone with the Oz experience and they said it wasn't the best as you have to stick to their itenerary in terms of places you go and length of time you spend there etc. While its a good way to meet other backpackers, you'll get to do that anyway while staying in the hostels and trips like Frasier Island, Whitsundays sailing etc.
