The Son is going up to see Metallica at Marlay Park and we have to collect him afterwards. We are trying to sort out some easy meeting place but have no idea of how many exits there are or where they are. Does anyone have any advise on a good meeting place or how many exits there are in case he ends up in the wrong place anyway, we have told him to just stand at whatever gate he comes out of.

Thanks

Tell him to walk down to the Three Rock Hotel (Google maps: Taylors threerock hotel, Grange Rd, Rathfarnham, Dublin, Ireland‎)
(10 minutes from the back exit) and meet him in the car park.

A short cut is to go through Purple's garden - but he doesn't want you knowing that.

Anyway, it's probably littered with lethal cat traps.

Re: What about Bronze

Bronze valve [broken link removed] is a metal alloy produced by blending copper and tin in various amounts, depending on the application.Bronze is made by smelting copper and tin together. When bronze is cast for use in statues, it contains between two and 20% tin, while bells use a higher percentage of tin: 15-20%.Bronze has several properties that make it valuable in industrial applications. The first is that the metal causes minimal friction, making it highly useful for machine parts and other applications that involve metal on metal contact, such as gears. Bronze is also non-sparking, so it is often used to make tools for use in combustible environments. The resonance of bronze also makes it ideal for use in casting bells.
That's very interesting (BTW bronze can alos be impregnated with oil to increase it's bearing properties) but it's not a heavy metal so what's it got to do with Metallica?

I'd suggest arranging to meet him at Ballinteer St Johns GAA Club, junction of Grange Road & Ballinteer Ave. Once he exits by the pedestrian entrances from Grange Road and not the car park entrance on College Road, it should be easy enough for him to get there. You could park up in Superquinn or the church car park on Ballinteer Ave if you get there early.

Traffic is very bad along the front of the park after concerts. Meeting at Superquinn is a good idea. A spot along Stonemasons way (the raod to Nutgrove SC) would also be good.
