Hi guys

I am going away next week but still have to check in on emails etc, instead of me checking in with email via remote server each day I was wondering if it is possible with Apple Mail to forward all mail to my gmail account which comes directly into my iphone?

Do you mean the Mail client in OS X or a .mac (MobileMe) account?

Sorry yeah I mean mail application on os x. It's a business account so is eircom.net but I want to forward mail to my gmail account or even my mobile me - both come into my iphone.

You should be able to setup the eircom.net email address on your iPhone.
Go to Settings>Mail,Contacts, Calendars>Add Account...>Other>Add Mail Account
You'll need a few details about your account, but technically it should work.

As above - there is no point in trying to do anything in OS X on your Mac as you'd have to set up a "Receive and Forward" AppleScript.

You could always POP your eircom.net mail into GMail - Settings, Accounts in the Gmail interface - only takes a few minutes to setup & works well

I don't know how if it is possible to get it through gmail but mine are eircom too and when I am not on my mac I just check my mail through webmail.eircom.net

You should be able to receive them on your phone by visiting there.
