Ok this is a bit long winded up not sure have I any legal rights here so said I'd check it out.

2 years ago this August bought a 00 Pug 206 1.4 LX. Smashing clean etc etc. Garage charged going rate all ok. Then the issues started. First thing that annoyed me was when I asked the garage had the car previous owners they said 1 girl, in reality it had 4! I wasnt too put out thou because the car was still the cleaniest I had seen.
Now fast forward 6k miles... The rear left axel gave way which is a common issue in Puegots. The garage offered to make up a bushing for it rather than the costly back axel. Cost €700 and a week in garage with no real communication but then car came back ok.
Fast forward another 6k miles, same scenario with right side of car.
Fast forward about 3500k and the first side again felt like it was giving trouble even though garage told me it "would never again go after this is done". Took it back to them and they first said car was ok, then said the front left wishbone was gone and charged €300 to fix it. Promised me blind the axel was ok and car was perfect.
1k later I still felt car was not right so took it to a different garage to have a look. The axel was so bad the garage will not let me drive it from there as it was bordering on coming away from the car. He said it is worst he is ever seen and is amazing that the car wasnt crashed over it.

Have I any comeback from this to the garage or must I just swallow my anger and pay for it to be fixed again!

First off, do you have any receipts/paperwork for the work done by the garage?

Have all original receipts from the 3 times it was taken there. Also have a garage which will write a letter saying car is not road worthy in the condition they realesed it to me.

Well that helps certainly.

Maybe worth a chat with a solicitor then I suppose? I would if it were me.
